As talked about before we know that the working conditions weren’t well but in most cases it was worse for women. Robbins talks about women and the introduction of factories. Robbins says “The idea that women are somehow more suited biologically for assembly plant work is widespread in developing countries.” Robbins even goes into saying that because a women’s hands are small they can work faster and delicate. They were better for the job, but they were getting paid less and in worse conditions, which is what Johnson says capitalist, the man in power of the work place could “exploit them as a source of cheap labor,” As all this is true Robbins also says “Capitalism couldn’t function without the army of women who do the shopping for households and do the labor through which those goods are consumed-cooking the meals, making the bed with the new set of sheets, and so on.” The women were also put to stay home so that they could help raise the next generation of workers, and that was all that was. Getting money is such a big deal that capitalist has caused inequality in gender, race, and class. By making the factories the only place to work at, even in an unhealthy environment and the pay was not even worth it. Making todays class, between upper class and lower class, the biggest separation that we have ever seen. Capitalist used women for their physical traits to make them better workers or a person to make the new workers. Also by having this inequality of gender we see women being treaded worse, where they are being rapped and abused. Also by making racism a power card for the white. That no matter where you stand in the economy you are better than anyone else. Capitalist caused all of this inequality. In my personal opinion I believe that we don’t even have a middle class. My father is a union worker and my mother works for one of the elementary school in my home town. We were middle class but now I wonder where do we really stand. As a college student, you have to have a job. Working in fast food just so that you can have money to start saving to pay off your bills. As a female I do worry about if the man standing next to me will hurt me. Or as a women that wants to
