The difference between an interview and interrogation is, that in interview is something that is done to people who are not, accused of the crime but know something about the crime or the know the person who committed the crime. An interrogation is when a person that has committed the crime is being questioned. Interrogation can also lead to a confession a statement admitting guilt that may lead to a guilty plea or conviction. Information that is gathered either from an interview or interrogation is evaluated or corroborated by cross check the story, reviewing report and the details of the crime. It can also be checked by checking past records, family status, hobbies and special interest of the person being questioned. Well to be honest I think
