During this semester learning about interpersonal communication was one of the topics that caught my attention because I have been married for 30 years, but it is always good to learn how to communicate with our significant other. I always think that if the relationship between couples are good the relationship with their kids is good as well. Interpersonal communication covers communication over the relational life span which was very informative for me to see the process that communication passes through any relationship. I will use some of the strategies for management dialectical tensions such as not denying when something is wrong. For example in my job there are people who do not like to take the trash and put it in the dumpster. I
