I did this activity with Amber and Lydia. Amber and I were very familiar with each other because we made friends with each other a few years ago. We did not do tasks with Lydia before, so we spent some time communicating with her. We learned some basic information about each other. We also knew the boundary point of her temper. We formed a goal that we should try our best to do this task as possible as we can.
We stared to learn more characteristics of each other. We all had our own ideas, so we all were initiators in this task. Lydia is a story teller. She had a lot of experience to share which saved our time to search the related information from internet. We came up with two different ideas. Amber thought it would be better to build the

We would try our best to do this task whether it would be a success or not. Successful result is not the only standard for us to judge success. Learning some new things would be much more important than being successful. I learned that there was a lot of different methods to solve the same question. Although conflicts appeared, we finished our task easily and successfully. Trust was fully established. We trusted each other while we were doing the task. We also shared feelings and ideas freely.
We started to work together to do the task following Amber’s idea. It was not a easy task for us to do. It needed a lot of work, so we worked together. The tools were not well prepared, so the height of the card house was limited. As a result, we built the house with only 54 cards. During doing the task, conflicts were still happening. The amount of cards which were used for the bottom of the house was a difficult question. However, the conflict was dealt with quickly. The task was successful. And then, we tried the second method. We finished it quickly because we had the experience of doing this task.
We had a conclusion about doing this task together. Although we had some conflicts, I felt that it was a pleasure to do this task with them. We all said our feelings about working in a group. We had a successful experience in doing this task. And then, we said goodbye with each other and joined in the new group to do a new

Introduction Over the past decade there has been a 500% increase nationally in the number of children diagnosed with autism resulting in an increased demand for individualized home- and school-based behavioral treatment programs ( (Mayer, 2008). Along with an increase in the number of students with autism, special education law mandates that educators utilize scientifically based practices to teach all students (Gongola, 2012). Children with autism have limited language and communication skills and because of this social interaction problems and restricted/repetitive interests and behaviors may occur. Furthermore, the difficulties in language and communication skills in autism affect cognitive and social development (Kurt, 2011). Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is used to increase behavior in the areas of imitation, receptive and expressive language, gross and fine motor skills, tantrums, aggression, and vocal and motor stereotypic behavior ((MacDonald,2014).…

The problem is that there is little research that has been conducted on this topic. There a few standards for selecting a replacement behavior.…

Empathy is a strong contributor to the remarkable human aversion to inflicting harm. Although extant work has investigated how present empathic responses prevent harmful actions, little work has focused on how our past empathic experiences help us learn to assign negative values to harmful actions. Our approach is to understand this process of learning moral values by drawing on formal computational models. We use the two distinct systems known to guide choice behavior: the habitual internalized “model-free” system, and the goal-directed planning “model-based” system.…

Reflection Paper II Throughout my college experience here in the Carroll School of Management, group work and the ability to work well with others has been emphasized greatly. This makes sense, because in a professional environment, the ability to communicate, listen and contribute within a group leads to success and the achievement of goals. However, none have gone on as long as this project, making it a more realistic example of working on a team. Junior year of college is definitely a crazy time, as we are forced to balance heavy workloads with extracurriculars and recruiting.…
