Internship Summary: Partnership Operations Intern

Decent Essays
I found your ad online for a Partnership operations intern for the fall 2016 semester and would love the opportunity to talk with you about the internship more. As an aspiring Actuary I have looked at Liberty Mutual as a potential employer and am very impressed with the success it has achieved and continues to achieve. I believe my background as a tutor and as a mathematics student will help me in the cross-section of customer service and insurance. As a tutor at Framingham State University students would come to the study lounge on a regular basis and need help solving problems. My experience as a tutor will help me in the role of Operations Intern because tutoring taught me how to identify an issue, and find the quickest way to resolve

As part of my leadership course at Grand Canyon University I was assigned to volunteer/internship in an experience that would enrich my future career. I was very fortunate to work out an agreement with the Director of Security and Safety at Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona and the home of the NHL Arizona Coyotes. My current career has me working at the University of Phoenix Stadium over seeing responsibilities in security and guest services. By volunteering to work at an NHL arena, I felt it would give me insight on how other professional sporting facilities operate with the belief I would gain some experience and takeaways that would become better at my current job and possibly expose me to a bigger world within the sports/entertainment industry. During my time working at the arena I kept journal entries of each of the games that I worked at and used those documents to help reflect on what knowledge I have gained and how my Grand Canyon University experience enhanced my volunteer involvement.…

During my fifth week doing my internship at Department of labor of Veterans’ Employment Training Service (VETS), I was happy because, for me it is important when your bosses recognize your effort and tell you that you did a good job. The action of recognizing my good job makes me more motivate and also to feel good about the organization. During this opportunity to do this internship, I am taking experience of the things I do right but also the things that I have done wrong. I should not feel bad if I make a mistake because with the things that I do wrong I am going to try to not make the same mistake on the workforce.…

awesome because then I can really have a more personal relationship with a group of students that I can talk to about God and help them through problems that they’re dealing with. The spiritual needs I believe are and were being met throughout the internship with each and every moment, when dealing with the message, life groups, and other spiritual building areas within the youth ministry. I really enjoy the way that the youth ministry that I was interning for ran each and every service. I don’t have many critiques or suggestions to improve the services but maybe one. The youth ministry is so big, maybe finding a way to split up middle school students and high school students more often.…

When I reflect back on the beginning of my second year of internship, I thought it would take forever to get here. I also thought that this year’s internship would never go by so fast as it has in the past months. I feel that like I just blinked for a second and 2018 was here. I am happy for the break that we had for winter break even if it was two weeks, as it helped me recuperate and come back excited to finish this semester.…
