He first noticed, I was shy at the beginning of my internship, and when most employee’s notice another employee is not comfortable being in a business environment, they instantly begin to caution things they do and make sure they know what they are supposed to do; so there is a little bit of a trust factor. I completed my goal of acquiring more computing skills due to the large amount of shortcuts I can use in order to be more efficient for customer service and achieve their satisfaction in a timely manner. I was able to learn more about DELL systems as they relate to professional work, and how they differ, professionally, from HP systems I had learned about from my internship with the Pacers. I have also greatly increased my communication skills while working for Stonegate because I was forced to talk to other employees, outside of information technology, who range in technological knowledge, so I had to adapt to the employee based on their knowledge and then attempt to resolve their issue. I was also forced to increase my own technological knowledge when I had to give a brief report to some of my team leads and my managers in regards to a renewed asset management system for the company. The final goal I completed during my internship was to gain a higher level of critical thinking. Stonegate’s information technology department has employees who must be extremely intelligent in their line of work in order to resolve other employee’s issues as quickly as possible, so those employees who had issues can get back to work and earn the company money. My critical thinking skills were put to the test when I received a helpdesk ticket for a printer in the Dallas branch
