As for the past weeks I have been worry that I am falling behind on my field hours and that I will not be able to make up the missing hours as many students have started their internship already. Since day one my field instructor has been supportive and encouraging. I have also been re-assure by my field instructor that everything will be ok, making me now feel less anxious than the first day of my field internship. Since my last meeting with the field instructor, I have only attended trainings at one of the Charter School site. I have also met new interns from different university and realized that we all have different majors but all have something in common feelings, doubts, and fears. Some mentioned that I associate myself with begin with, feelings of wanting to quit, stressed, nervous, anxious, excited, and worried as for most it is our first placement. Additionally, there was feeling of wanting an experience all can be non-judgmental, accepted and respected. Sitting in a room with different people, I only met for two days was a blessing experience as I felt a sense of community despite of being our first time meeting. I also felt accepted by the staff, respected, and understood.
