I am writing in response to the open news/politics writing internship position as listed on Bustle’s website. This is exactly the kind of opportunity that I have been looking for and I feel that this position would allow for me to expand upon my passion for political writing.
I have recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in political science as well as a certificate in writing, speaking and critical reasoning. I have extensive internship experience in nonprofit, political and legal areas. Writing about politics and the law has always been a passion of mine I would like to further develop by interning for Bustle.
