Today we are more reliant on the internet than ever before, in america our whole lives have begun to revolve around it from work to play. Because about half of our lives are now on electronic there are many parties feel as though they need control over this as well. Internet censorship is the act powerful companies and governments blocking sites and information they see as unacceptable for the public to access. In America there are many forces who are working towards making internet censorship a thing. Many countries like America still have free internet and believe that access to it is a basic human right, however there are some countries such as China and North Korea where internet censorship is the norm and is to be expected.

After someone learns about what they are missing out on a lot of the citizens are not going to want to stay in China much longer after they realize they can go to another country and have more freedom. With people leaving the country because of this they could be losing key members in their society to another who could have been great contributors and beneficial in otherways to the countries and its other citizens. Although they have been quite successful in monitoring and preventing things from getting to the public, they are hurting themselves because of how many resources they are putting towards stopping something that cannot be stopped. Eventually people will find a way around there censorship or leave as mentioned before, which is already posing a threat. With many people constantly visiting and moving to china where they originally had open access to the internet, there way of thinking cannot be stopped or altered and can be influenced upon some of china's citizens. There are also many organizations and big businesses that are working to help get information into China and stop leaving its people in the
