You can call me a hopeless romantic. I have always dreamed and prayed the day would come when I would get married and have kids. I have tried and have had multiple failed attempts. I have tried local online dating sites, meeting men in person and even had the help of some friends to set me up with someone. After all these failed efforts I felt lost, scared, hopeless and the worst of it all heartbroken. This was going on for years I just felt like I was in this never-ending cycle. I was on YouTube and saw some documentaries about international dating. I thought what a crazy idea to meet someone and potentially fall in love with them with so many miles in between. I was wrong. I found an application called Turkey social and showed men in Turkey. …show more content…
He and I talked about goals we had in our lives and we both want the same things. A little background on Yahya he loves to cook. He has been working as a chef for seven years and loves what he does. He has so much passion for cooking his dream is to open his own restaurant. I can see him having his own place being he has so much experience and seeing everything behind the scenes. I loved him so much that I decided to take a trip out to Istanbul and meet him. I used all my vacation hours which came out to be a total of three weeks. My mom met him and loved him as well. I wasn’t able to meet his parents they live in another city but they know about us. We spent full days together he showed me around he was calling me the tourist and I was jokingly calling him back the tour guide. He even made me food which was delicious. I saw a fire in his eyes I have never seen before. I could get lost in his eyes for hours. I felt safe with him and he always reassured me even though we are far “I will always love you.” Sometimes even words don’t measure up to how he makes me feel.
