I am writing to follow up on my application for an internal medicine residency at your hospital (AAMC ID: 13252927). I am a permanent resident in the USA. My application package might have been missed out by the computer screening system.

I am particularly attracted to your program, not only because it delivers high quality care to a diverse patient population, but also because of the high caliber of the residents and the dedicated and accomplished faculty.

As shown in my application materials, I had MD, PhD (Research Cardiology) in top medical school of China, and also served as a physician in internal medicine and a fellow in Cardiology. After immigrating to the USA, I had 3-year post-doc experience in University of Maryland, and 6-month
