A wish for murder comes from extraneous variables that lead to an internal conflict, which develops a person’s individual psychology. Internal conflict is the struggle occurring within a character’s mind. People have different reasons to kill, soldiers have to go to war, some people have to murder in the name of self defense, and finally, there are mentally unhealthy individuals who have to murder due to the lack of emotions. Emotions play a big role in the whole process of murder. Through Crime and Punishment, how murderers react during the murder, and how they cope with it after the murder, it can be understood how inner conflict is overcome through resolutions; also how emotions play a big role in the whole process.
In the book Crime and Punishment which is written by Fyodor Dostoevsky, the main character Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov, a very proud individual, has been contemplating whether to commit an awful crime or not, however the type of crime is not clear.
