In the novel walk two moons by Sharon creech Sal uses her experiences in life to help others. When chanhassen leaves sal to go to Idaho. Sal grows through an external change. Sal goes through an internal change with Ben. Sal reflects on her own life when Phoebe’s mother leaves her. Even though Sal goes through a ruff time. Sal lives the life she wants. She realizes the things she did that she never noticed.

Sugar leaves Sal and her Dad. And makes them deal with it.
In fact, Sal germs angry at her mom for leaving. “How could she do that. How could she leave me.” Pg 35. Now sal has to emotionally grow. Through the fact that her mother left and she can’t come back. “I needed to believe that my mother was not dead, and that she would
