Google is a well know word in 2012, but the word “Google” or the verb “to google” were unknown at the end of the twentieth century. Google comes from an idea of that began in 1998 with two Stanford’s students. Larry Page and Sergey Brin found an alternative searching engine algorithm for a business that was involved in globalization, innovation and in rapid transformations. Page and Brin did not only find an alternative, but also drove a market with innovation and leadership. In the beginning of 2012 Google inc. reported revenues of $10.58 billion in the fourth quarter of 2011, representing a 25% increase over fourth quarter 2010 revenues of $8.44 billion. In 1998, Co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin changed people’s lives all over the world by starting Google. As time has gone on the company has expanded to more than 20,000 employees all over the world. With the intentions to keep up with the ever changing market, Google has put in place a management team that represents the best and more experienced professionals in the technological world today. Larry helps to build the internal processes throughout the company worldwide. Larry Page is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Google. It is up to Larry to take care of Google’s day-to-day operations. In addition to these duties Larry leads the company’s direction with product development and technology strategy. Being one of the co-founders of Google since 1998 with Sergey Brin helped to grow the company to more than 200 employees and made the company profitable by 2001. All while pursuing a Ph. D. at Stanford University. Also in 2001, Eric E. Schmidt joined the Google team as the Executive Chairman. With Eric’s help has grown the company from being just in the Silicon Valley, Ca to building up to a global leader in technology. As the Executive chairman, Eric has the duty to take care of the external matters of Google. Some examples of the external matters are that he is responsible for are like developing partnerships with other companies and advising Larry Page and other senior
