Internal and External Analysis and Application of the Porter’s Five Forces Model of Ford Motor Company
Ford Motor Company has contributed to the United States’ economy since it was created in the 19th century. Although Ford has faced financial issues, the company remains victorious. The company poses a profitable financial status that is supported by the revenues. The company got the status of a profitable company thanks to the deep study and analysis the company made of the SWOT. The SOWT analysis, S (strengths) W (weaknesses) O (opportunities) T (Threats), is a tool that allows companies to work on the internal and external challenges a company faces to make better decisions for the welfare of it (Taylor as cited in Fallon, 2016). Actually, Ford Motor Company remains as a stable company, since it has internally intensified the strengths and worked hard on the weaknesses, and externally has identified the opportunities and overcome the threats it faces in the market.

Ford wants to fulfill its customers’ preferences, so for this coming year, the company will offer new luxury car models. Actually, customers are aware that Chinese cars are cheaper than the Ford cars, but they would prefer to pay more money for a Ford car than paying less money for a Chinese car; customers know Chinese cars are very bad
