The client describes it as a problem because of her children living in an unsafe environment. The reported stated that Ms. Faith lives at 330 Liberty Avenue, Dawson, Georgia 31774. Ms. Faith resides in an at-risk community on the west side of Dawson, Georgia. There are five people involved in the problem, the client’s mother has custody of two of her kids, and Ms. Faith has custody of her three month old boy. Ms. Faith and her son are currently residing in a one bedroom apartment complex. Ms. Faith presents herself as a caring and motivated single parent, who is willing to accept help from DFCS, to gain custody of her other two children. The client show great determination and strength of soberness for four months before the birth of her newborn. Ms. Faith reported she is thankful for her mother's willingness to care for her two other kids. Ms. Faith stated that she is required to take a drug test randomly and she is not fearful. Some resources that are available at DFCS would be entering a substance abuse counseling service, and parenting classes with an intervention plan and skills to take care of all her children and to maintain a stable home environment.
