The task: You are being asked to search really hard for information about your given space. To ask yourself questions such as the questions we used to frame the lectures at the start of the unit: * Why is it the way that it is? Locate your building within bigger ideas (intellectual & cultural context) * Who were the people that designed it? Who were the people that used it? (social context) * What was happening in society at the time that it was built? (historical context) * Where was it built (geographical context), etc.

and to record your investigation in a journal (to be kept in an A4 notebook with plain paper) as you go along.
**By the end of the teaching block, you should know your chosen space inside out!**
