My personal philanthropic goals are to donate my design skills to my community. I want to create my own design firm and provide volunteer work through my business, a growing number of young designers are attracted to humanitarian work, like myself. The practice of architecture and design can be a huge component to advertising my personal skills. The greatest asset to an ID (Interior Design) is the individual skill sets they have, so no one has the same skills that you do.

I am scheduling to take classes next year in architectural design and art history. This will give me a head start into reaching my goal, ID is a very competitive program and gaining more knowledge about my profession will increase my chances of being successful. As of this moment, I am a high school sophomore and I am taking Interior Design 1 and an Art class. Taking these classes have increased my passion and have made me more observant for what my goals are. My passion started about 2 years ago, my dad and I love the HGTV channel and I always wondered about who designed the beautiful houses they were showcasing. I immediately researched Interior Designers and instantly knew that, that's what I wanted to do. My role model is Kacey Nobles, her work is so authentic and unique. She is an Interior Designer and has been designing for almost 8 years. She has been on three shows, Design Star, Design on a Dime and my favorite show Hotel Impossible.
