These opinions come from both interest groups and lobbyists. Both of these political groups have the overall goal of persuading the lawmakers to incorporate their ideas into the laws being created. They are able to do so with funds and access to information. They are both very influential over these important decisions being made. Decisions that ultimately affect everyone involved.

By having enough data to back up their final visions, lawmakers are able to see what they should be doing differently or what they should incorporate into the laws. They are able to plan how they will adjust their work and how it can be better for everyone. Because Interest groups have a strong influence on both the people and the state officials that see through the steps to making laws, they’re able to accomplish their ultimate goal and obtain what they have tried to obtain previously. They are very powerful in getting what they want when they know how to get it. Due to the many economic limitations the people have on contributing to certain campaigns they have little to no influence on the decision-making process and lawmakers; which is why it is important for both interest groups and lobbyists to do their job correctly and make the changes they wish to see in the process. 1 The government should also place better limitations and more oversight on the interest groups, who have access to greater funds, so that all opinions may be heard and taken into consideration.
