Interact Club is an organization that I am proud to be a part of. As co-president, I get the opportunity to choose various service projects such as Feed the Hungry, Salvation Army, and Special Olympics. Volunteering with Feed the Hungry was one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had as it allowed me to make a direct impact on the community-Ethiopia. We were given the opportunity to pack food that would be shipped off to the malnourished there. As a team, the other members and I packed over a thousand bags of food. This was a group effort, to be able to pack these bags efficiently and accurately. I designated everyone their individual tasks and it was up to them to master the skill.
