Intentionality on Interpersonal Communications
We all have heard the term “intension,” good intention, bad intension, no intension and so forth. However, how often to do stop to observe how do we reveal our innermost intentions through the way we communicate with others. How does intentionality determines the mediums in which we deliver communication? Is it easy to disguise our intentions? Are our intentions clear to others when we are trying to communicate effectively? To what extend should our intentions be deliberately nontacticably disclosed? When it comes to intentionality, I found the previously- mentioned questions rather interesting; thus, I will attempt to exp upon them later on.

He looks confident. He walks around the gallery inspecting each piece. Suddenly he comes across a piece named “She is in Love.” The name of the painter does not appear on the piece and it does not have a price tag either. Alex approaches Jack,-who is the show curator to inquire about the piece.
ALEX: Good evening Jack! You look marvelous tonight; and the cologne you are wearing complements you very well.
JACK: Thank you Alex! You don’t look bad yourself.
ALEX: I was hoping you were curating tonight. You are always so vibrant and entertaining. Frank has become to grumpy for this kind event.
JACK: I agree with you. Frank has lost the passion that once characterized him; now he just cares about the money. I flattered by comments!
ALEX: By the way, I want to buy “She is in Love,” what is the price for it?
JACK: I am sorry, but you won’t be able to buy it; that piece is not for sale. However, there are other great pieces on display tonight!
