Hello Class, Liberty University’s Department of Counselor Education and Family Studies seeks to “educate the whole person within a framework of grace and truth.” Grace is unmerited favor, it means supplying another’s needs even when they have not done anything to deserve it. In the video Dr. Ron Hawkins (2013) quoted Paul when he addressed the Ephesians, Paul was saying “listen carefully to see what people need, then seek to meet their needs.” The integration of Counseling is to move into a ministry of Christ. I strongly believe that a counselor cannot counsel effectively without grace. Over the last 4 years I have not encountered any situation where my views on integration are different from Liberty University’s. I have grown as a person,
