Case Study # 1 “Integrated Logistics for DEP/GARD”

Introduction
Tom Lippert, the sales representative for DuPont Engineering Polymers (DEP) finds his company facing a difficult situation. DEP is the supplier of a huge manufacture called (GARD). Mike O’Leary is Tom’s point of contact and he is retiring and his replacement will be Richard Binish, which makes Tom a little nervous. Richard heighted up the expectations for the suppliers. This change opened the doors for other suppliers and causes DEP to take a look at their strategy stay competitive and keep their customers.
