Here the author’s goal was to find a way to use technology to assist teachers in the whole learning process. The study focused on a small number of teachers selected to utilize technology and digital storytelling. Data was collected by using a “scaling rubric instrument” to measure the students’ success and involvement in learning with the digital story telling. Teachers were also observed and interviewed to provide reasoning behind how they integrated the digital story telling into their class. The studied showed that overall students were more encouraged by the use of the program to personalize and think more deeply about their assignments. Subjects seem satisfied with using the technology as another way to learn (Sadik 2008). The utilization of technology seemed to have a positive effect on the learning of the students. Technology may be viable in increasing the satisfaction of others in different …show more content…
According to Sadik, students found greater satisfaction and showed deeper levels of thinking when the story board program was integrated into the class room setting. We expect technology to have a positive outcome in this study. Hackett, Mirvis, and Sales’ study gave reasoning behind the difference in expectations between males and females in new technology. We predict that photos that are given credit to a male will receive higher scores then females. Hackett, Mirvis, and Sales’s study provides evidence to the common idea that males tend to be more technologically knowledgeable then females. We predict for the interaction between the editor and level of editing. Pictures that are heavily edited will have significantly higher ratings when a males name is listed versus a female. Although when pictures have no editing we expect there to be no significant difference in the scores. Again using both supplementary studies it is assumed that males will score higher than females except when technology is not used then we predict that the scores will not be significantly
