Intake Support Coordinator met Jacob, his mother Judy and his father Joe at the Woodman Office. Jacob is a 6.5 ft. 17 year old who attends Hermitage High School. His mother stated he plans to graduate at age 22. Jacob enjoys writing, arts and crafts. During the intake Jacob sat in-between his parents and occupied himself with arts and crafts with his father. He often made vocal sounds, but answered questions when directed towards him.
The parents seemed at odds with the capability of their son as they disagreed with the response the other would give. Intake Support Coordinator observed Judy in tears when examples were provided to give a clearer picture on some of the questions then she would change her response.
