2.2 Instructional Time: 7.75 h
2.3 Implementing High-Quality Instruction: 15.75 h
2.4 High Expectations for All Students: 21 h Total= 55.75 h
My comfort level with the standard: My comfort level with this standard is both quite high and low. As a practicing teacher, I am quite confident in these abilities. Having taught at various levels and in diverse settings, I understand what an effective classroom looks like. However, as a future principal, I feel that I will be in a position to understand what a solid classroom should look like, I will have ideas of how to teach these classes, however, I lack significant experiences coaching and working with teacher to help improve their abilities. As a principal, I will not be in a position to make the changes, only in a position to guide the teacher as they enact what they feel is best.

What I learned as I worked on this standard: My internship provided me an opportunity to visit multiple school districts and observe a diversity of classes ranging from elementary schools to high schools. Through these experiences, I learned about the

In the upcoming years, I intend to continue to learn. As an avid reader and someone who believe that at its heart instructional leadership is the merging of the abilities to communicate with the knowledge of the best pedagogical practices. To this end, I intent to learn and enhance my communication abilities as well as my knowledge of best teaching practices. Through, constant improvement in this area, it will be possible to help guide the teachers to implement the best practices for our students
