Instructional Leadership Course

Instructional Leadership course provided a great way not only to learn new concepts but also to reflect on my leadership practices and make important steps toward some changes. There are three words that come to my mind when I think about this course: curriculum, assessment and PLC. The concepts behind these words are closely connected to all elements of Standards 2 that were covered in this course.
The first element is element 2B, Curriculum and Instruction, became the most inspiring element for me because it allowed me to see how to better analyze and work with data, as well as how to monitor the alignment of curriculum instruction, assessment and professional practice. Data While talking about standards, frameworks and instructional materials

The ISLLC School Leadership Profile was an important activity in this journey, my overall score of 1 shows that I still have much to learn about the role of an educational leader. My vision assignment actually helped me to pinpoint leadership responsibilities in designing, revising, and carrying out the school’s mission and vision. I see now that education leaders are held accountable and are uniquely responsible for developing and implementing a vision of learning in order to guide decisions and actions. As a leader, I will be charged to guide a process for developing and revising a shared vision, a strong mission, and comprehensive goals that are not just appropriate but…

Most health care organizations may use a combination of different training methods in implementing an information system, such as the computerized physician order entry (CPOE). One of the most popular methods, according to Nicklaus, Kusser, Zessin, and Amaya (2015), is an instructor-led class in a classroom that contains all of the equipment needed to demonstrated essential functionalities, including printers, bar code scanners, identification bands, and medication labels to mention a few. The advantages of instructor-led training are the ability for end-users to ask questions, quick clarification of complex concepts, and easy identification of users who may need additional help. The primary disadvantages are the expense and resources needed…

Effective Leadership in Higher Education Obtaining a precise definition of effective leadership can prove to be a frustrating endeavor.
