My 2nd oldest brother is doing well as a ward of the state. My eldest brother lives in Manassas whom I look after as my father is barely taking care of himself. I have learned a lot about patience, diversity and equality by interacting with my handicapped older brothers. Between my father constantly working overtime and his two hour commute he was hardly home but when he was he made up for it tenfold. Unfortunate he got into a sever car accident when I was six and never fully recovered. My father taught me the value of working hard and taking responsibility. …show more content…
Although I didn’t meet saint hood and I am a better person for it. My mom had diabetes that she never appropriately managed which lead to her passing a few years ago. In my childhood my sister took care of the entire family when my mom was too sick to get out of bed. By example, she showed me there are people out there worthy to be trusted and have a passion to help people in need. I’m glad I was able to take something form each of them and become better for it.
