Instagram has allowed individuals with unique talents to become extremely famous. It also gives people a new way of expressing their opinions and feelings. Next, as communities grow, they are usually significantly supportive of upcoming small business. However, a community cannot support a small business if they do not know anything about them. Instagram allows small business not only to get their name out but also to spread their ideas. Advertising expense can often be outrageous; Instagram gives small businesses an option that can reach many people with fair prices. However, Instagram’s advertising does not just allow small businesses to flourish it also has significantly helped large corporations to succeed. Carmen Papaluca, who is doing her graduate research concerning Instagram, has found that the images on instagram often make female users in their mid 20s feel bad about their bodies. Instagram has also made many feel that their lives were inadequate compared to the lifestyles of many of the famous individuals on instagram.
