Dreams can come true by following your curiosity and intuition. At his Stanford commencement speech, Steve Jobs urges students to pursue their dreams and see the opportunities that come through life 's setbacks, including death itself. The speech, titled, “Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish,” has a strong message, uses ethos, and includes an appeal to pathos. All three of these things make the speech inspirational and powerful. He provides us with ethos when he tells us who he is and what he does. He shows a touch of logos when he gives several credible statistics. Pathos is shown through his three stories about life itself. He does a wonderful job of making the audience feel independence and freedom as he explains a story about following your heart

He points out the importance of believing in something, following your heart, and not losing faith even if you fail. Jobs defines death as the greatest invention because its existence is the one thing that gives life a value.
