Leadership and Innovation
Shaping an organization as well as one’s perspective is viable through well-thought-of leadership (Aarons, 2006). Respectable leadership shapes perceptions, response to organizational change, and acceptance of innovations such as evidence-based practices (Aarons, 2006). Leadership is inescapable in an organizational literature since leadership is important for both for the organizational process, and for consumer satisfaction and outcomes (Aarons, 2006).
With good leadership, an organization is able to encourage innovation culture (Chua, Roth, & Lemoine, 2015). Innovation culture is practicable when leaders promote a work atmosphere that allows personal thinking and application (Chua et al., 2015). Not only leaders

Rogers’ theoretical framework clearly states the vital virtues for a successful innovation in an organization (Rogers, 2003). It further states ways ideas spread and requirements essential to facilitate the establishment and adoption of an innovation (Rogers, 2003). Rogers’ element of diffusion theory amplifies on four major elements. First, (Rogers, 2003) defines innovation a new idea, practice, or object that a person or organization can adopt. She further incorporates communication as another element that one uses as a mode of transporting messages from one person to another in order to achieve a common understanding. Rogers states that time, which is the third element measures the number of individuals that willingly adopts or rejects an innovation over a given time frame (Rogers, 2003). Finally, the social system serves as a set of interconnected units that engages in a joint problem solving mechanism in attempt to achieve a common goal (Rogers, 2003). Rogers’ social system element of diffusion fits perfectly with my organization structure. For example, employees are not allowed to work more than 30-hours a week. Matter of fact, the organization encourage employees not to work more than 20-hours a week due to the 24-hrs on-call commitment that every employee has to endure weekly. Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT) shows to have an advantageous effect on the positive symptoms and negative symptoms, moods, social functioning, and social anxiety (Li et al., 2015). Positive symptoms by (American Psychiatric Association [APA, 2013]) are psychotic disorder that includes hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized speech and behavior. The negative symptoms are described as affective flattening, poverty of speech, and avolition (APA, 2013).
