There are many fairy tales that have discussed in this class. And the most interested stories from these fairy tales are Snow White by Brother Grimm and Ever After: A Cinderella Story directed by Andy Tennant based on Cinderella by Charles Perrault. There are many different version of Snow White and Cinderella from different culture. However both of these stories are known as children bed time story and they are very famous around the world. In addition, the purpose of both stories is to give a good lesson to the children from struggling for life to happiness. Unfortunately, her father remarried after her mother passed away and she has to deal with her evil stepmother and two stepsisters after her father died. Cinderella is kind and nice young girl who worked so hard as a servant in her own home, but still earn disrespectful and ignorance from stepmother. Cinderella sees a man stealing her father’s horse while she’s collecting apples and she threw him with an apple. The man was prince and he gives her a bag of gold in exchange for her silence. And she decides to use the money to rescue their servant, whom the stepmother has sold to pay her debts (Wiki 2015). When the stepmother finds out that Cinderella rescues the servant, she beat her to dead. But her younger stepsister pity on her and help her scares to be recovery. One day, the king and queen tells a princess to choose a bride before the upcoming masquerade ball, or he will rather has to married Spanish princess Gabriella. So, the king invited all the nobles’ families to attend the ball and Cinderella stepmother got invited by the queen. The stepmother and older stepsister did not allow Cinderella to attend the ball and they locked her in pantry.
