Inner Strength: Poem Analysis

The theme is inner strength. Inner strength means you are confident and faithful in yourself.You won't let anything or anyone break you down or make you feel bad about yourself. You are confident that you can accomplish anything and you are very strong in the inside even if you're not in the out side . For example if you want to save your family but you aren't confident in yourself you won't be able to save them since you are insecure about yourself. But if you shove all the negative thoughts at the back of your head then you will be able to find the inner strength in yourself to help save your family since you are determined on a certain goal and you aren't feeling insecure about yourself. …show more content…
My type two question is would the guys ever realize that they are the ones being tricked. My answer is no they will never figure out that they are the one being tricked because while the boy is using his mind the guys are not using their minds but on what they see. The guys are too focused at what they are seeing. I think the theme is inner strength because to me i think the boy is tricking the guys in the store. But even if he was tricking them he was bullied constantly because they thought he was stupid while he was not stupid to me the boy has a strong inner strength since bulling hurts a person but he wouldn't let the bulling hurt him or break him. The boy is the one tricking the guys because every time they play the game with the boy the boy will gain a nickel while they will lose a nickel and since the story is old a nickel back then would have been a lot of
