The Construction of human nature has been affected by multiple avenues, such as the interaction of Humans as a species throughout History, these interactions have helped to form the mind into a naturally selected set of cognitive adaptations. The importance of Human interaction, in the construction of Human nature, is emphasised by Evolutionairy Epistemologist, Tim Ingold who states “Human capacities are not genetically specified but emerge within processes of ontogenetic development. Moreover, the circumstances of development are continually shaped by human activity. There is consequently no human nature that has escaped the current of history (Ingold, 2006).” This quote provides support to the idea that Cultural input, such as Socialization effected through history, has a large effect on the construction of Human Nature. For example; from young age children are expected to behave in different ways, and different traits are valued for different sexes. Also, children from different regions of the world are conditioned to think and behave in different ways in order to protect their own survival. These traits, are therefore present due to Cultural Input rather than an inset Innate
