We see the conflict between the identity we identify as and the identity other gives us without our consent. This conflict in identities prevent true understanding and awareness of individualism when we collective combine everyone into neat little categories and assign them an ideal image of that identity. We are take away justice from individual in different aspects of their holistic identity by assigning an identity to them that society deems as a correct representative of the individual. There are definitely more vulnerable individuals than others because of the lack of acceptance of their identity, which prevents treating them fairly or somethings even humanly. The main reason why these injustice and inequalities still persist was nicely said by Megan Francis in her talk when she say that we tend to focus on solutions without understanding the root of the problem, which leads us to asking the wrong questions to move forward (Francis 2016). I view society as playing Jenga: we continue to build the institution we have to be as big as possible, but we continuously moving the same building blocks by analysis which one make the least amount of damage without addressing which area needs the most attention to support the transforming
