Everyone in the room throws files back and forth. Highlighters are smeared against papers. Words are shouted louder and faster than I ever imagined. Once I enter the room, adrenaline kicks in. That sense of rush I am injected with is the kind that I live for. The stress and thrill I feel, as I prepare for the upcoming debate rounds, is nothing compared to the exhilaration I endure when I debate. In every debate, my intention is to always win. Regardless of the sleepless nights I spend preparing, the objective never changes. Among the many other clubs I am in, debate, in particular, leads the course of my high school career.
