Words to understand
Objective- a thing aimed at or sought; a goal
Execution- the carrying out or putting into effect of a plan, order, or course of action
Value- a person’s principles or standards of behavior; one’s judgment of what is important in life
Clarify- make a statement or situation less confused or more clearly comprehensible

The ultimate objective of every task, project, or goal is to cross the finish line or place a checkmark beside it, right?

Values can be basically anything that you place importance on. Examples of common values include acceptance, compassion, freedom, fun, health, independence, love, and trustworthiness.

Take the free Personal Values Assessment offered by the Barrett Values Centre at https://www.valuescentre.com/our-products/products-individuals/personal-values-assessment-pva. Using the results, make a list of your core personal values. Then, write in your journal about how your values influence the goals you have set. Note any instances when your values don’t match your actions. What can you do to fix this?
