The career counselor will maintain Leslie’s confidentiality. NCDA Code of Ethics (2015) B.8.c identifies the importance for a career counselor to avoid releasing any information about Leslie that may reveal her identify (pg. 9). Leslie and the career counselor will work collaboratively to obtain a shadow experience for Leslie during week four of the career intervention plan. Leslie and her career counselor will not have a physical meeting during week four. However, Leslie will be encouraged to write a summary of her experience including her likes and dislikes about the occupational role she is shadowing during week four. She is also encouraged to ask various questions to the professional that will enhance her view and perspective of the occupation. Leslie and her career counselor will resume their sessions during the week five
