During our careers we have worked with different managers. They have studied a lot, competed and proved their managerial skills, but they differ. Why? Because being a manager does not necessarily mean that he/she is a good leader. A good leader would incorporate good management skills forecasting, proactive planning, risk detection and mitigation, setting goals, communicating these and following up; plus leadership skills. The leadership skills influence the climate within the office and overall satisfaction.
