Strengths of The Speech:
My appearance was neat and professional, and went with the assignment. The PowerPoint visual was clear, simple, uncluttered, informative, and used smoothly. The language used was professional and appropriate with no slang usage, like “you guys”. The transitions worked well for my speech. It was simple and flowed well into the next major point. All requirements for the presentation were met.

I lost my place, and had to look at the PowerPoint and outline to continue the speech. I giggled twice in order to relieve stress, because I was so nerves. There were some filler words used like “um” and “ok”. I stood in one spot during the entire speech, because my legs were shaking. One improvement would be controlling my nerves. I will practice my speech out loud in front of others more than once, I will take deep breaths before and during the speech, and I will pick out friendly faces throughout the classroom so I can look the room more often. I will wear flat shoes so that I can walk around the room a bit more. Also, I will time out when I will move around throughout the presentation. I will stay calm to control my shaky vocals. I will work on my vocal projection so that I am able to increase my voice at key points, but insure that my voice will be able to be heard in the back without yelling the entire time. I will watch professional speeches like Michelle Obama to try and mimic her confidence and her strong speech given skills.
The improvements of my PowerPoints will consist of more visuals to capture my audience attention. I will create an outline that is more simple so that I am not trying to remember a written speech. I believe that because I was trying to focus on remembering my written speech mixed with nerves that is the reason I lost my spot during the speech.
