Informative Speech On Tie Dyes

Present day people see tie dye as a way of showing hippie spirit, but tie dye was used for than just a way of showing spirit. During time when china was ruled by dynasties tie dye was used as a symbol to show rank in society. This symbol was used worldwide form and still used today in most parts of the world. Tie dye wasn’t as developed back then as it is today. To create dyes, the craftsmen would use natural dyes like oils, plants, roots, and berries for color then boiling them I water so that they would dilute the water changing the water into sections of bright colors dipping separate section of the fabric so that the colored water would stain the normal cotton or silk so that when done, the once normal cloth would be bright and colorful;
