I. Introduction
A. Attention Getter: What do you guys think; how many pairs of sneakers should be owned by a person? Perhaps only one, or two? Well, for me being a sneaker head, there is no limit in having enough pairs of sneakers. And everybody’s heard the saying money can’t buy happiness right? but money helps me buy a pair of sneakers which makes me pretty happy.
B. Revealed Object: Here are the sneakers I brought with me today. They are Nike Air Jordan’s and mostly everyone has heard about or seen these type of sneakers before. And I’m going to show you they are part of sneaker head culture.
C. Social Significance: Everybody here owns at least one pair of sneakers. Some people wear them for style, and some other people they wear them for

For me, being a sneaker head started in my childhood. When I was younger I was kind of a shy person, so I didn’t really like to talk much. For me, sneakers were a way for me to express myself since I wasn’t good at expressing myself through words. And because I am a sneaker head, I was able to meet and develop relationships with people and that continue till now.
2. The sneaker head culture to me means more than just collecting shoes. Each pair of shoes I buy have a personal reminder or story to why I purchased that particular type of shoe. And I think I will always keep buying sneakers because there will always be a sneaker that interests me or have an emotional impact. To me it’s not how many pairs of sneakers I own it’s the sentimental value of each sneaker that makes them priceless.
III. Conclusion
A. Signal to Close: In short, these sneakers are in a way the essence of sneaker head culture.
B. Review Thesis: After gaining some insight on sneaker head culture, I hope you guys learned how sneakers can represent a life style.
C. Review Main Points: We first were shown a brief history of sneaker collecting and how this sneaker represents the culture, then how I identified with this culture.
