The robotic arms were made with a 3D electroplating metal printer that prints metal objects in three dimensions. According to usatoday.com, prosthetic arms would normally cost about $15,000 compared to Not Impossible Labs’ price of $100. Summary:
Today, the Eyewriter, the Brainwriter, and the 3D Robotic Arms have gone global. With Ebeling’s new concept of “Help One Help Many,” everyone with similar physical challenges could now access all of the open-source software and instructional materials through their “do it yourself” website.
III. Lastly, let’s look at how Not Impossible Labs made such a profound difference in people’ lives.
A. With Tempt Quan, the Eyewriter was truly invigorating that literally brought him back to life. After seven years of silence, Quan, finally was able to communicate with his family and enjoy doing what he loves most – being able to write and draw again. This was priceless.

A farmer by trade, Don is now able to speak to business colleagues, a truly empowering change for a man who has been strapped in silence for fifteen …show more content…
It is a vision inspired by Ebeling’s dream to improve people’s quality of life through inexpensive medical devices. Despite his lack of expertise in the field, Ebeling did not let this get in the way of realizing his dream. Instead, he founded Not Impossible Labs and bring forth some of the greatest minds filled with creative solutions to make this “Technology for Humanity” a reality. Together they took a stand to dare the impossible and proved that we all have the power to make a difference. To create our own mould which would serve the needs that all humankind should have been entitled. Certainly, this change is epic, and could be disconcerting to the highly capitalistic, profit-driven healthcare industry. However, the time has come to level the
