Introduction: _Have you ever done something in your life that gave you a thrill like you have never had before? For example, you played the best game of your entire life and you 're on cloud nine or you ride a roller coaster for the very first time. This is the same experience that methamphetamine users experience. It 's a thrill, a rush, but its the beginning of an addiction that is very hard to get rid of. Methamphetamine isn 't usually drug that many people pick up for the first time. It could be the cause of not getting the rush from softer drugs such as marijuana, or pain killers. Body: When someone is on this drug, it completely takes over their mind. They do not care who they hurt or what they have to do to make sure that they will not come crashing down and miss a high. One will lie straight to your face and steal right from under their own family. This is a major effect of the drug, deep down it isn 't your loved one that you know so well, but this drug has encompassed their mind to a point of they don 't care who they hurt, they just want a high. Seeing a family member become addicted to this drug and steal right from their own family is honestly heart wrenching. This drug caused her to steal from our own grandparents and take their wedding rings and coins to a pawn shop, just for meth money. As stated in the previous paragraph, meth will also effect an unborn child. She was pregnant and still used. He was born premature and shook all over due to the detox he had to endure. At that point, she still only cared for herself. That is exactly what methamphetamine will do to ones relationships, it will make completely take over them to where the user sees family members and their belongings as dollar signs.
