Informative Speech On Julius Caesar

Julius Caesar was born in Rome on July 12th or 13th in 100 B.C.. His father died when he was just only 16 years old. That meant that the only person that he had left was his mother and he built a stronger relationship with his mother than he had before. As time passed by he had gotten married to a nobles daughter, Sulla, the women that he married was, Cornelia. In 69 B.C. Julius Caesar was personally chosen to be Quaestor, which is a base political office, then went to serve in several other key government positions under Pompey. Caesar was ordered to divorce his wife risk losing all his property, he did not divorce his wife or lose any of his property. Julius Caesar declared himself the emperor of the Roman Empire for life. While being the emperor of the Roman Empire he built up a tough private army, they went to war with Mithradates VI Eupator, King of Pontus, because they declared war on Rome. Then in 44 B.C. as Caesar was getting ready to invade the Parthian Empire when he was famously assassinated by political rivals who stabbed him 23 times. …show more content…
Julius Caesar worked hard to become the emperor of the Roman Empire and continue his dad’s legacy of being a great emperor. Before his dad, Gaius Caesar, died he was the emperor of the Roman Empire. He joined the military and proved that he was a strong and outgoing soldier. The greatest things that Julius Caesar has done was capitalizing on the war against Mithradates, defeating Pompey in the civil war, conquering territories such as Gaul and his military campaigns significantly expanded the Roman Empire. Caesar was a strong ruler over the Roman Empire, he invaded and took over many nations. He was a very fair to his people in his Empire. As I said before, my point that I want to get across is that you understand how interesting, powerful, and smart Julius Caesar and why he was such a great
