Unless you’ve lived under a rock for the last few years, chances are, you’ve heard about CBD oil (or cannabidiol oil, which is an extract derived from the cannabis plant, sans the psychoactive ingredient, Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC). In fact, this substance is largely touted as somewhat of a “miracle drug,” with applications ranging from cardiovascular health to fighting cancer. Perhaps the most widely known use for CBD oil has been the treatment of seizures and other neurological disorders – I’m sure you have come across a video (or two) while browsing your Facebook that shows the incredible, and often instantaneous results of these patients ingesting CBD oil.
