Informative Speech On 9/11

Yesterday, at 7:59 A.M. American Airlines flight 11 took off from Boston’s Logan international airport meant to go to Los Angeles.
What wasn’t known at the time was that was the start of a horrible terrorist attack on The United States. 20 minutes later flight attendants on flight 11 informed ground personnel that the plane had been hijacked. Fighter planes were to be sent up, but just before they were in the air, flight 11 crashed floors 93-99 of the north tower of the world trade center.
This killed everyone on the plane, and hundreds in the building. It was all over news, and the cameras were rolling at 9:30 when the second plane crashed into the south towers. It crashed into floors 75-85. Hijackers aboard flight 77 crashed into to part of The Pentagon, but this is far less known than the destruction of the towers. The crash into the pentagon killed 59 plane passengers, and 125 military, and civilian personnel inside the building. That would make 184 people killed at The Pentagon.

400 of those were police, or firefighters. 18 people were rescued alive from the wreckage. The victims ranged in ages from two to 80, and 70-80 percent of them were male. This attack resulted in the largest loss of life from a foreign attack on American
