According to an article in American Jails, to help fix the problem you can set up a fund to donate a certain amount of money every month or make a one-time payment which will do many things.
A. One is help build the National Law Enforcement Museum, which will attract thousands of visitors a year. All visitors will be treated to a state-of-the-art, interactive perspective of life behind the badge. The Museum is going to help people better understand and truly appreciate the critical role the brave men and women of law enforcement play in upholding the law and keeping our communities safe.
B. Another way you can help is by going to visit the Fallen Hero’s monument located in Washington DC.
III. According to an article in Safety & Health, donating and visiting the memorial will help all Law Enforcement Officers get more recognition of what they do and people will start appreciating police officers more. Furthermore, this will help the families of the Fallen Hero’s because it will give the families something that they can go and look at whenever they want to remember their loved ones.
A. If people don’t donate to this organization then there is a high chance that everything that is happening to police will continue to happen which means more officers being killed/assaulted.
