The American Dream is the ability to have freedom, it’s the ability to do as you please. The American dream allows people to come into our country and find what they love. Someone that could have a terrible life and an awful living situation not able to feed their children, could come to America and live a decent life, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to believe in what you want, and freedom to be who you want. “Life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each per ability or achievement" this honestly, I believe Is still a very real thing, this was said by James Truslow Adams in 1931. Some of the dreams may not be alive anymore but there is still a lot the US is trying to do, they are trying to keep us happy and do the best they can, considering all the people in the US and all the people they must provide for they are doing well. Plus all the new stuff coming out and all the people that don’t do anything nor have jobs and ‘need’ money, those people really keep the US busy and if I was them I would understand they can’t do millions of things at one time, I’m sure we will get back to a point where we can all live a happy life as long as people start trying again, I mean honestly this generation is so lazy if I could get a job I honestly would but unfortunately I can’t because I’m too young. I am 15 years old and I do more than 20-year-old now a day. Usually, everyone, today is worried about iPhone and money yet they can’t get the money to get their self an iPhone and hey wonder why they can’t, maybe if they had a job and provided for them self they would be able to but no one does anything …show more content…
But just a question, do you think the kids or the new adults these days even know what the American dream is, unless you grew up in a politic house or any house to do with politics then you have most likely heard of the American dream, but in that case, you know about it yet don’t care about it. Unless you are super big on politics and adults and kids these days don’t care about any of that. I have asked my parents on what they think about the American dream and they told me that people now a day just think it’s a joke, I don’t even know how many people know about the American dream, it is a big deal for a lot of people but a majority of us including the kids don’t care about it. My kind of included, I never would have even thought about this topic until this, and usually, I am a great writer but for some reason, I just have no idea what to say about
