Student Athletes in College Many recruiters come out often to view a high school student athlete practice or play at certain games to see which of the students would place great on a college level sports team; especially for the sports, football and basketball. But do these student athletes meet the requirements of the University or the requirements for the team? Do they get certain scholarships or funds pertaining to nothing that they do? And how much are they allowed to get away with, do they have any special privileges?
